Jaabir ibn ‘Abdillah رضي الله عنه heard the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم say on the day of the conquest, while he was in Makkah:
“Allah and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of alcohol, dead meat (non-Halal), pork, and idols.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2236) and Muslim (1581).
The story so far
In 2023, Tahir Rafiq struggled to find dog food in the UK that met both Islamic standards of purity and ethical animal treatment. Determined to provide the best for his beloved dogs, Hunter and Xena, he took matters into his own hands. His journey led him on a global search for a solution one that would ensure the production of 100% halal-certified dog food, free from cross-contamination and aligned with his values.
From this journey, Qitmir was born proudly offering halal-certified dog food that is healthy, nutritious, and made with natural ingredients.
